Aida 1 introduction to freediving
Prerequisites:
Be 18 years of age or older (16 or 17) years with parent or guardian consent
Be able to swim 100m nonstop
Requirements: None
Minimum water sessions: 1
In this 1 day course you will learn the basic knowledge and skills of freediving. The morning will start with a Theory session taking 1-2 hours where we start to learn all the basics about the breathing cycle, how to keep your body and mind relaxed, equalization, safety in freediving, and the different disciplines in line diving. Practice dry static (breath holds). A self-study Manual will be given out.
From there we move into the water for a couple hours to put this information to use, we will start with a wet static (breath hold) getting our selves comfortable in the water. Demonstrate and practice diving techniques and equalization.
This is a perfect course for those who may or may not be so comfortable in the water and want to start to explore what you are capable of.

Aida 2 Freediver
Prerequisites:
- Be 18 years of age or older (16 or 17) years with parent or guardian consent
- Can swim at least 200m nonstop without fins and 300m with mask, fins and snorkel.
Requirements: 2 Minute STA (breath hold), 40 meters DYN, 12 meters CWT and written exam over theory.
Minimum water sessions: 5
In this 2-3 day course you will learn the beginner level knowledge and skills of freediving. A self-study Manual will be given out prior to the course start. The morning of day 1 will start with a Theory session taking 2-3 hours where we start to learn the basics about the breathing cycle, knowledge on our physiology in relation to freediving, how to keep your body and mind relaxed, equalization, safety in freediving, beginner level techniques, the different types of equipment we use in freediving and the different disciplines in line diving.
From there we move into the water for a couple hours to put this information to use, we will start with a wet static (breath-hold) getting our selves comfortable in the water. Demonstrate and practice diving techniques, equalization and safety rescue skills.
Day 2 will be spent improving our technique, working on our requirements, safety skills and written exam.
Day 3 if needed will be for finishing up any requirements not met in days 1 and 2
This is a great course for those who have some experience (although not required) in the water and interested in learning the basics plus a little extra of the freediving life.

AIDA3 ADVANCED FREEDIVER
Prerequisites:
- Be 18 years of age or older (16 or 17 years old with parent or guardian consent)
- Can swim at least 200m non-stop without fins or at least 300m non-stop with mask, fins and snorkel
- Have completed the AIDA2 course or have completed the AIDA2 Crossover Evaluation if crossing over from another freediving agency
Requirements: 2:45 minutes STA, 55 meters DYN, 24 meters CWT, written exam
Minimum water sessions: 6
In this 3-4 day course we will spend a lot of time further developing our skills learned in previous courses, focusing on technique and safety. New skills will be introduced such as free fall, training tables advanced equalization techniques and much more.
The morning of day 1 will start with a Theory session taking 1-2 hours covering more advanced physiology, equalization and safety protocol, from there we move into the water for a couple hours to put this information to use.
Day 2 will have another hour of theory covering various topics and reviewing previous knowledge, the open water session will be spent improving our technique, working on our requirements. An afternoon confined water session will be in the afternoon working on rescues and skills.
Day 3 Will be more work on skills, technique and requirements with the written test after the afternoon water session.
Day 4 if needed will be for finishing up any requirements not met in days 1,2 and 3.
This is one of the most fun and gratifying courses as all your previous experience plus this course will start to build your confidence in yourself and the water as a free diver.

Safety Diver Course
A 2-3 day Special safety course is offered for those who are interested in learning the skills to be a competition safety diver or who just want focus on being a good safety. This is not a certified course but is held by an experienced competition safety diver. We will take a deep look at different emergency situations that can come up while diving and how to approach them as well as risk management, safely setting up your rig, and many other topics.

DEpth Training Session
Training session can be done several ways generally last 1-2 hours with a short swim out to a 20m or 50m buoy, your choice of us just providing a safety and or instruction. Unlimited depth can be accommodated via boat. Rates will very with size of group and accommodations.
